For international paddlers, packraft expeditions in Japan offer an exceptionally appealing experience.
Packraft Hokkaido provides expedition-grade rental services using Alpacka Raft packrafts.
We supply equipment for international paddlers visiting Hokkaido, experienced domestic paddlers, and adventure race participants.
*This service is not for tourist rentals.
② About This Rental Service
This rental service is intended for paddlers with the following experience:
- Experienced packrafters
- Whitewater paddlers
- Backcountry expedition veterans
- Adventure race participants

requiring self-responsible action in this environment.

⑤ Rental Contents
The rental includes the following items.
- Paddle
- PFD
- Air pump
- Repair kit
As needed
- Helmet
- Other equipment
can also be arranged upon request.
⑥ Security Deposit
A deposit of
¥40,000
is required for rentals.
The deposit will be refunded
after equipment return
if there is no damage
and it is within normal wear and tear.
⑦ Reservation Method
Please provide the following information before making a reservation:
- Paddling experience
- Planned river
- Date
- Number of people
We will determine rental availability after confirming the details.
⑧ Adventure Race Compatible
Suitable for use in adventure races.
However,
we require prior confirmation of:
- river sections,
- water volume,
- difficulty level.
For safety reasons, we may decline rental requests.
⑨ Rental Conditions
Equipment must be returned
- cleaned
- dried
Additionally,
commercial use and subletting are prohibited.
