Every AlpackaRaft packraft is handmade in Mancos, Colorado.
Fabric is cut, shaped, and sewn one boat at a time. And in every cutting room, there are scraps. The Scrap Tote Bag is made from those leftover pieces — the same TPU-coated nylon that goes into AlpackaRaft packrafts, given a second life as a water-resistant everyday tote.
The Same Fabric as the Boats
The Scrap Tote Bag uses AlpackaRaft’s TPU-coated nylon — the identical material used in their packraft hulls. Water-resistant, easy to wipe clean, durable enough for everyday use and outdoor conditions alike.
For AlpackaRaft owners, it’s a natural extension of the gear they already know. For anyone else, it’s a well-made, water-resistant tote that happens to come from one of the most respected names in packrafting.

No Two Are the Same
Because each bag is made from production offcuts, every Scrap Tote Bag has a unique combination of colors and patterns. Multiple color themes are available to choose from, but within each theme, the exact layout of colors will vary from bag to bag.
Available colorways:
- Red / Arctic Blue
- Forget-Me-Not
- Magenta / Arctic Blue

The Story Behind It
Using production scraps to make something useful is a straightforward expression of making the most of the material. AlpackaRaft builds every packraft by hand — the scrap tote is a natural byproduct of that process, turned into something worth owning rather than discarded.
