The AlpackaRaft TiZip Maintenance Kit contains the same items included with every new Cargo Fly packraft. When the lubricant runs out, the kit gets lost, or you want a spare for field trips, this is the replacement.

The One Rule: Clean Before You Lubricate
The most important thing about TiZip maintenance is sequence.
TiZip lubricant is viscous — it attracts sand and dirt. Applying lubricant to a dirty zipper makes contamination worse. Always clean first, then lubricate.

Storage and Drying
- After every use: leave the zipper open until fully dry, then close it for storage
- Storing the zipper closed while wet causes corrosion and deterioration
- When transporting a wet boat: roll with the Cargo Fly on the outside (floor inside, rolling from the bow) — this allows the zipper to dry during transport
When to Buy This
