DIY installation notes
2025+ version on an older boat: requires a separate DIY Extra Tie-Down Single Strap Plate × 1 bonded to the inside of the front panel.
2019–2024 version on a boat without a floor toggle: requires a separate DIY Extra Tie-Down Floor Toggle × 1 bonded to the boat floor.
What the Foot Brace Does
Effectively shortens the cockpit: Inflating the foot brace positions your feet to engage the boat naturally — no more sliding forward or losing contact in dynamic water.
Works with thigh straps: The foot brace and thigh straps work as a system. With both in place, you can lean, edge, and steer from the hips rather than just the paddle. Precision in Class III+ water depends on this kind of full-body boat contact.
Adjustable via air pressure: As an inflatable, you can dial in the fit by adjusting air volume. The Pack-A-Pump Adapter lets you top it up from the seat without stepping out of the boat after tempering.
