Tomoki Kokubun — guide and photographer based in eastern Hokkaido — will be speaking at the Patagonia Sapporo Store on July 11.
The store’s gallery space currently hosts a photo exhibition titled “水の脈 / The Pulse of Water”, featuring Kokubun-san’s photographs of the Kushiro River. From its source at Lake Kussharo, through the meandering wetlands, to the Pacific Ocean — approximately 100km of waterway documented through his lens. The talk will explore what he saw and felt along that journey, in his own words.
