The inflation bag is how you get your packraft on the water. Left at the put-in, stolen by a fox at a Hokkaido campsite, or simply worn out — when it’s gone, you need to replace it.
AlpackaRaft sells both the inflation bag (bag + adapter) and the adapter on its own. Before ordering, figure out which one you actually need.
The Two Products

Inflation Bag
AlpackaRaft’s own inflation bag — the same bag included with every new AlpackaRaft.
A 360-degree rotating press-fit swivel nozzle (the adapter) connects to AlpackaRaft’s TAV (temper-assist valve). Thread the adapter onto the valve, push the bag — the boat inflates quickly and efficiently.
Weight: approx. 142g (5 oz)
Two Variants by Production Year
The bag design differs by valve year. Check your boat’s production year before ordering.
- 2017 and later models
- 2016 and earlier models
Use with Sleeping Pads
The press-fit adapter is also compatible with many third-party inflatable sleeping pads.
Compatible: Exped, NEMO, Sea to Summit ※ For Therm-a-Rest WingLock, Exped, NEMO, and Sea to Summit: reverse the adapter orientation ※ Not compatible with Big Agnes products

Inflation Bag Adapter (Adapter Only)
The adapter component sold separately — without the bag.
The adapter comes standard with every inflation bag, but if you’ve lost or damaged only the adapter, you can replace it without buying a new bag.
Compatibility with Other Pumps
This adapter also works with other inflation systems beyond AlpackaRaft’s own bag.
Compatible: Flextail pumps, Exped / NEMO / Sea to Summit sleeping pad inflation bags

Which One Do You Need?
The bag itself is torn, lost, or unusable → Inflation Bag (check production year and select the right variant)
Only the adapter is broken or missing → Inflation Bag Adapter (adapter only)
If only the adapter is the problem, buying the full bag is an unnecessary cost. Check before you order.
Inflation Bag vs Pack-A-Pump
The inflation bag gets the packraft to approximate shape — it cannot reach operating pressure (1.5–2.0 PSI). For proper inflation, the Pack-A-Pump is needed as a second step.
